Outbound Credited Program

HAN-SDU Exchange Program is an exchange program between the Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen (HAN) University and Sanata Dharma University. This opportunities is open for students from the Teacher Training and Education Faculty (FKIP) to study at HAN University, Nijmegen, Netherlands. By participating in this program, students will have the opportunity to experience studying at an European university while gaining valuable insights into the educational system and academic culture in Europe. This program runs for one semester in the even semester.

HAN-SDU Exchange Program 2025

HAN-SDU Exchange Program is back this fall semester. This year, two Sanata Dharma University’s students, Radin Kurniawan from English Language Education Study Program and Calvin Christian from Psychology participated in the exchange program and earned the opportunity to study in HAN University, Netherlands

HAN-SDU Exchange Program 2022

HAN-SDU Exchange Program 2022 was held from January 25 – April 25, 2022. Cecil and Karel from ELESP spent their days embracing the unique culture inside the campus and at their living place, which is the typical Dutch house. During this programs they experienced memorable encounters and made friends with people from Austria, Italy, San Marino, Turkey, and France.

HAN-SDU Exchange Program 2020

HAN-SDU Exchange Program 2020 was held from February until April 2020. SDU delegated Hanna from Chemistry Education Study Program. She had their wonderful exchange experience and took tutoring, performing arts, global citizenship, Dutch culture and society, and tutoring as her subjects while studying there.

Find the previous reports:

  • Active undergraduate students of SDU (semester 4-8)
  • Have an active passport
  • Have good English proficiency, proven by TOEFL iBT Certificate (minimum score of 80)/ Duolingo English Test (minimum score of 100)/ TOEFL iTP (minimum score of 477)/ IELTS (minimum score of BAND 6,0)
  • Minimum GPA 3.00
  • Ready to pay the living expenses
  • Passes the selection process.
  • Recommendation letter from the Head of Study Program and Academic Advisor

  • Academic Transcript

  • Scan of active passport and travel history

  • English profiency certificate 

  • Motivation letter

  • Copy of student financial card (from SIA)

  • Parent consent letter

  • Financial guarantee statement

  • Documents for Visa (check the Google form for complete information)

  • Prepare the required documents.

  • Submit the compiled documents to the application form.

  • Fill the online application form (the link will be updated once the program is published).

  • Follow the selection process according to the schedule.

The following are the estimations of the program cost paid by the participants:
