International students have nothing to worry about life in SDU because the International Office staff and students always help us live and study in Yogyakarta. The environment and the atmosphere are very suitable for both studying and exploring Indonesia. SDU offers lots of field trips and club activities so you can study at both inside and outside of classes.

SDU is a recommendation from my lecturer when I had my Darmasiswa scholarship. Studying at the History Department of SDU in Indonesia is on top of my list since its language, culture, and history always put me in mind. SDU offers facilities which motivate me to learn and study more each day. The International Office is really helpful, communicative, and reliable.

When I walked into the campus for the first time, I felt a strong learning atmosphere as I witnessed several people sat together to study and discuss. I am honoured to experience both teachers and classmates' helps in facing in-class and off-class difficulties. Whether on campus or off campus, I have learned a lot about Indonesian culture and etiquette, making me feel Indonesia is a great country of etiquette.

Sanata Dharma University always helps and guides its students and it was no different during the placement season. Professors are really kind and considerate. The professors are really helpful for improving my academic skills. From my perspective as a foreigner, the classes have been helpful. SDU also has good facilities such as library, basketball court.

Sanata Dharma University is one of the best universities I have ever studied in. SDU is a perfect place not only to nourish the knowledge we need for our future but also the place we can learn and prepare to be an “agent of change” of the society we live in. Moreover, with humble, skillful, friendly, and generous lecturers as well as supportive environments of SDU, it is so much fun to learn and live here.
