Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen. I believe that during these three days, all of us have obtained a fruitful discussion. In this 7th SEA-DR IC 2019 whose main theme is “Improving Professionalism and Reflective Thinking through Design Research”, we have learned a lot from the keynote sessions delivered by the amazing keynote speakers, workshop sessions which are delivered by very interactive workshop instructors, and nine invited speakers who have shared their interesting work. Once again, on behalf of the committee, thank you for delivering such important materials so that all of us can deepen our knowledge about design research.
Furthermore, I would like to thank all presenters and participants who have joined this conference from all over the world. I am certain that every presenter has presented the application of design research and educational research. I sincerely hope that through your presentation and discussion afterwards, all of us can contribute to solving the educational problems in our own countries. Even though the contribution may be small, but it is still valuable.
Although this is the last day of the conference, the conference process is not over yet. There are still some steps that should be done. First, please edit your metadata covering the author’ names, e-mail addresses, abstracts and keywords. Second, we will send you an e-mail regarding the publication of the submitted paper on 30 July 2019. Regarding this matter, we will select the papers and sent them to suitable journals. However, we cannot guarantee that your paper will be published by the journals because the final decision will be decided by the journals themselves. The waiting time will also be various from one journal to another. Therefore, we kindly ask for your patience.
Third, please revise your paper according to reviewers’ comments and adjust your paper template according to the requirements of the journal in which your paper is going to be published. Please submit it to our e-mail at seadr@usd.ac.id on 9 August 2019.
The next thing I would like to say, we are happy to announce the Best Paper Award and the Best Student Paper Award. So, the Best Paper Award will be given to Rindu Ariavindra Funny whose paper entitled Reflective Thinking Skills Analysis of Engineering Students in Learning Statistics. The Best Student Paper Award will be given to Irma Risdiyanti and Rully Charitas Indra Prahmana whose paper entitled The Learning Trajectory of Pattern Number Learning Using Uno Stacko Game. I would like to invite Yosep Dwi Kristanto and Hongki Julie in giving the token to the winner.

Finally, I would like to thank all the committee members for organizing this conference and ensuring that it proceeded smoothly. I would also like to apologize for any inconvenience that you might experience during this conference. Ladies and gentlemen, there is a saying in Bahasa Indonesia “Ada perjumpaan maka ada perpisahan”, which means “ when there is a meeting then there will be goodbye”. I am certain that you are all looking forward to getting back to your respective homes, so I thank you once again for your participation and wish you all a safe journey home. I hope that you enjoy your stay here in our lovely city Yogyakarta as well as our conference, and I do also hope that we can meet again in the 8th SEA-DR 2020. Thank you!
Albertus Hariwangsa Panuluh, SEA-DR 2019 Vice-Chairman
